The Company acquired six businesses in 2016, four in Process Management's final control and measurement devices businesses and two in Climate Technologies.

Acquisitions are a key to achieving the goals of the AMETEK Growth Model.

As part of this acquisition strategy, we have closed on several acquisitions in the past three years including the Howden Acquisition.

We pursue a disciplined and strategic approach to acquisitions aiming to enhance the quality and attractiveness of our portfolio over time and position Dover for long-term growth.

Our historical growth has included, and our future growth is likely to continue to include, in large part our acquisition strategy and the successful integration of acquired businesses into our existing operations.
